Featured Ad - There will be a added thumbnail link to your web-page from the homepage
of either male/female section. The purpose of the
featured ad is to simply get more traffic (hits) to the web-page. The
more traffic the better chances of acquiring pen pals. Also, on each age group featured ads will show up above all standard ads.
A
photo is highly recommended as the response with ads without photos is
very poor.
Meet-An-Inmate.Com is ranked number one for traffic among similar sites and is listed at or near the top of the Internet search engines. It gets more traffic according to alexa dot com than any of our competitors. However, we cannot guarantee how many responses (if any) you will receive. We recommend that you concentrate on ‘seeking friendship’ instead of a serious romantic relationship.
A friend or relative can submit the ad and photo and pay the fee. The inmate is considered the customer even if someone else paid for the ad. The inmate or the person who paid for the ad must notify us of any change of address. Address changes and corrections to ad are free. Additional photos are five dollars each and a profile rewrite is ten dollars. Inmates can mail these request by writing a postal letter to us. If you are the one who paid for the ad email us at meetaninmate.com@gmail.com the changes and we will send you an invoice. Only the inmate can request with a letter postmarked from the prison to have the ad removed or put on hold.
If an inmate experiences more mail than they can handle we can
permanently delete or put a hold on the ad until further notice. Putting a hold on your ad will not change the expiration date of
ad. This request must come directly from the inmate. NO EXCEPTIONS! It is
not rare for an inmate to advise us he/she has received more mail than
they can handle. However, at
times some men may not receive mail and they may request us to put them
on the no mail yet section. Nearly 100% of the time women will be successful in acquiring pen pals.
I have only received two complaints from women in the last ten years. We
have hundreds of satisfied customers for both men and women, but we
cannot guarantee results.
5. We make very few changes to the wording of an ad other than
correcting spelling errors; however, we reserve the right to edit,
delete, reject, or change wording in any ad. No profanity or adult content is permitted. If we discover you sent in a
photo that was not of the inmate or gave false information on your application,
we will correct the information or remove the ad. If a
photo looks suspicious we may make a comment stating we can not verify
photo.
The inmate name and mailing address will appear directly on the ad. There is no charge to write to an inmate. We do not forward emails.
Once ads are placed there will be no refunds.
All ads must be for inmates that are incarcerated in the United States
