Hello, my name is Andre, and as a result of making poor decisions and lifestyle choices, I have been rightfully paying my dues. I am currently incarcerated at a pre-release correctional facility in Hagerstown, MD. However, without sounding cliché, I am forever grateful for the grace of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, who has freed my heart and mind from confusion. Since my incarceration, I have dedicated my life to the Lord and change, by earning a Bachelors degree in Christian counseling. I am an active member of the non-denomination church leadership board, and regularly engage as a bible study instructor. I love dogs and worked as a dog trainer for 8 years here at the prison. I also love sports, so I play and coach basketball, baseball, football, and volleyball. My release date is September of 2025, and I look forward to getting back to being a productive member of society. Ultimately, finding and meeting the Lord in the midst of these unfortunate times has proven to be the guiding-light to change in my life, learning my gifts and obtaining a renewed mindset.
