I’m from Petersburg, Virginia. I have been incarcerated for a little over 25 years. I’m locked up for multiple Armed Robbery charges along with multiple uses of a firearm while in commission of a felony.

I’ve made a lot of bad choices in my life and the majority of them started when I lost my 2 scholarships. My life just took a turn for the worse after that. I’m not the type of person to make excuses, or dodge responsibility, I’m a big believer in accountability. I made my bed, now I’m lying in it and have been doing so for a little over 25 years now. What hurts the most is the fact that I let my family down, especially my parents.

I have been learning and growing during my incarceration. I’ve gotten my G.E.D., I’ve completed Custodial Maintenance class, I’ve completed Thinking for a Change I & II, Fatherhood, Anger Management. I’m also on the waiting list for Painting and Drywall.

My mother and father, along with my step-parents, are getting older but that doesn’t stop them from fighting for me every day which lets me know that outside all the mistakes I’ve made, I’m not a bad person and I don’t burn bridges.

I’m hoping that I can find a friend to correspond with and buld something genuine with. I’m not crazy, I know that I’m locked up and what I can offer is limited. I do know this, though! I’m loyal, I’m very attentive and I’m not a liar.
