I am a retired carpenter, capable of building an entire house from foundation to finish, and have built neighborhoods. I’m also experienced with building sheds, pole buildings, outbuildings, benches, picnic tables, all manner of lawn furniture, decks and additions to existing buildings.
I enjoy gardening, with a preference to perennials. From roughly 50 gardens, most of which were nurseries of my collection of perennials and using from my collection of iron materials, I would landscape and create unique garden spaces.
I enjoy spending time fishing, even if I’m not catching fish, since I enjoy being in the outdoors to enjoy whatever wildlife may be seen or heard. Being in nature without distraction is a wonderful way to spend a day getting to know God.
I am 60, born in Alaska. As a son of a military man I have lived in many states across the U.S. as well as Germany. I like to travel, not just to see new sites, but to meet people and share our cultures and life experiences.
I anticipate moving to somewhere along the Ohio River Valley upon release. My body has had enough of the harsh Minnesota winters, as I live in constant pain due to Degenerative Disc Disease.
